Thames Path
Mention the River Thames and most people's first thought will be on the mighty river flowing through London and, yes that is an important and historic part of the rivers course.
However the Thames story actually begins some 200 miles away, in a nondescript field in the Cotswolds, not far from Cirencester.
Indeed the official source of the river can dry up in summer but after a few miles a tiny stream appears and it's really hards to imagine what the stream will go on to become.
