Anglesey


The largest island in Wales and the 7th largest in the UK.

It's known for its beaches and ancient sites. The island is accessed by the 19th-century Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge, rebuilt in the 20th century.

The Isle of Wight is the largest English island, situated off the South Coast and separated from the mainland by The Solent.

A populat tourist destination it has the mildest climate in the UK.

Lindisfarne


Lindisfarne, also known as Holy Island, is a tidal island off the northeast coast of England in Northumberland. Famous for its 7th-century Celtic monastery, Viking history, and the 16th-century Lindisfarne Castle, it is accessible via a causeway that is submerged by the sea at high tide.

Orkney


The Orkney archipelago is a group of 70 islands, with around 20 inhabited, just off the northern coast of mainland Scotland.

Home to many Neolithic sites, some as much as 5,000 years old.

Rum


Rum is the largest of the Small Isles, and the 15th largest Scottish island, and is inhabited by about 30 people, all of whom live in the hamlet of Kinloch on the east coast.

The diamons shaped island is just 40 sq miles.

A group of 100 beautiful islands, fewer than 20 of them inhabited, is the most northern archipelago of the United Kingdom.

Closer to Norway than London, the islands are a fusion of Scottish and Norse cultures.
