People tell me I'm always moaning - hence my epithet “Old Moaner”
The site originally began in 2014 simply as a blog, where I opined on various issues, getting things off my chest. I also added a smaller travel section where I reviewed various destinations I have visited but from an Old Moaners perspective, rather than a sugar coated travel guide.
The site had a hiatus when lockdown began but I have now decided it is time for the phoenix to rise from the ashes and, unexpectedly, the travel section has become the main component of the site with the blog playing second fiddle.
The travel section is currently around 75% complete so you may find some dead links and the famous “Lorem ipsum” text. These should be updated over the coming weeks.
There are no recent blog updates but I have retained the historic blogs as points of interest and looking back on them is educational.
Most of them I still stand by but with some I have subsequently changed my view – I’ll leave it to you, dear reader, to decide which is which.
